What a beautiful view!!! They need to clean up the graffiti

Think you’re in shape? Climb to the lookout level of this historic fire tower. If you’re not sore the next day, you’re in shape!

I don’t know the age of this old girl, but I’m over seventy and it’s always been there. The fire spotting equipment was removed several years ago, but it can be seen at the Forestry Headquarters, on the eastern side of the forest between U.S. Highway 31 and I-65.

Hard climb but worth it. Great view and yup get to see trees decorated with underwear. Yes underwear.
