Love this place. We camp here regularly and are usually the only ones here. It's very relaxing and well kept up, just needs some showers but other than that it's picture perfect.
This is a pretty nice place! The park is big with alot of nice picnic areas. The fall foliage is beautiful here. There is a nice lake you can fish in, but I never catch anything. The play grounds are ok, but old. There are some really excellent covered shelter houses for having big events, and they can be reserved. I have been to a nice wedding here once, several graduation parties, and other events. It tends to be a nice quiet place overall.
This place is just far enough away from town! A great place to enjoy nature.
Round the corner from my parents home so always a familiar place
If you use the shooting range it's not for those who don't want to wake threw water or build their own targets and don't shoot on the police range even though no one is occpupying it is sacred to officer's only.
